A few competing coins certified at the VF-35 level appear to have even less detail than this exceedingly attractive coin, but we err on the side of a more conservative VF-30 grade. The lavender-grey surface shows marvelous, smooth wear throughout with no major contact marks, and only the expected distribution of small circulation ticks.
